easter sunday 2011

Easter Sunday was a great day. The kids were so well behaved and had so much fun...Cris knows I'm the Easter bunny so while Peyton and Raven took a bath after breakfast, Cris went outside and hid 60 plastic filled eggs. He went along on the egg hunt which after I      realized how unfair that was cause he knew where they all were.

I'm ready mom.

Cris finding eggs like he knows where they are..gee wonder why?

Raven and Peyton are always inseparable..She is so good to her baby brother.

Easter 2011

Saturday before Easter Cris and Raven had a birthday party to go to with there Aunt Sissy, We really wanted to color eggs that morning so we started our day pretty early. Peytons Grandma was coming to help and visit for the day. She brought the kids an Easter Basket for all 3 kids that she put together herself. They were so Happy.

We set up the table to color some eggs...I only give them like 9 eggs to color just for the fun of it. Because I use plastic filled eggs for the egg hunt. Peyton kept dropping his eggs right in the cups so all his eggs were cracked, but it was all good cause it was all about just
 having family fun.
Of course Cris can never take a normal picture but he is my goofball cant imagine him any other way.
Raven My little Diva, She always has fun. no matter what activity we do. as long as we are all together...She's gonna make a great mom some day:)
It was a gorgeous day, so we sat outside for the rest of the afternoon before Cris and Raven had to leave...Had to run Peyton so he would be tired out and take a nap. The day was filled with fun, family time and relaxation in beautiful weather..all in all I enjoyed every moment :)

Yup that's Cris thinking he's pimpin cause he has a cell phone

Search for Diago

Peyton Is as normal as a 2 1/2 year old would be. The other day he and I were watching our daily adventures with Go Diego Go. And he asked me for a backpack just like Diego, so he can have a map in it. So the search for Diego started. You see, it's the end of March and school is almost done. So backpacks are a little hard to find at the moment. I was actually kinda stressing about  not being able to find him one. Dad went to visit a few friends in Monroe (about 2 hrs. away).   And for something to do they all visited a Flea Market. As dad was getting ready to turn around in an area of toddler toys. In the corner of his eye he saw it...there it was ... DIEGO... And the best part- it was only .50 cents...That smile was definitely worth it.  2 thumbs up for DAD...

About Us

Welcome to my blog - please grab a coffee, get comfortable and visit for awhile! I created this blog to have a place for family and friends to be able to keep up with our activities and see pictures of  my awesome kids!

A little bit about me ~
I'm a mother to three children who have completed my life in more ways than one.
~ Cristopher Steven (9)
~ Raven Dyani (7)
~ Peyton Riley (2.5)

My children have many challenges that have been handed to them, but everyday we make it through. I recently decided to not send my two oldest back to public school next year. Unfortunately our public schools can not properly accommodate children with such disabilities. I will be homeschooling them this coming fall. I'm so excited but mostly nervous. I'm researching all my options on how to approach a lifestyle of being a homeschool mom. One site in particular has greatly helped me already. it's the first page I log into when I'm online. the homeschool lounge.
I already know to expect many mistakes while taking this journey but I have faith that we can make this a memorable experience for us to enjoy.

As a family we love to do LOTS of things - like
~ Reading or making our own stories
~Baking goodies/ freezer cooking
~Family game nights (pull out the old board games)
~Nature walks and scavenger hunts
~Curling up with popcorn and a movie as a family.
As time goes on I plan to include many more traditions and activities for us

Cherish each day that you've been given and teach your children to do the same. Enjoy your visit!
